Automatic Gate Frequently Asked Questions
How do I program my remote to my vehicle’s built-in transmitter?
The answer is in the car owner’s manual. Or for after-market, the first thing to determine is if the frequency that the car transmitter operates at is compatible with the frequency of the receiver located in your gate operator. Our gate operators program to most late model car systems.
What is covered by your warranty?
If there is a problem with your gate causing it to not operate properly, we will come out and diagnose the issue at no cost. Issues, such as sagging, leaning posts or supports, or other installation issues will be repaired at no cost.
If the issue is due to a parts malfunction such as a motherboard or battery, the part will be replaced under the manufacturer’s warranty (if it is still within the warranty period determined by the manufacturer) and re-installed at no cost. If the manufacturer’s warranty has expired for the part, the customer pays for only the cost of the part. The installation of the new part, purchased by the customer, is installed at no cost.
Ask your sales representative for more information.
What would cause my gate to open and close slowly?
This is most likely a sign that the battery is failing. Either the battery is not charging or not holding a charge and needs to be replaced.
